The wife and I were granted an opportunity to obtain a property and home that my wife had wanted since she was a young child. Every bank we went to for a VA loan told us we couldn't have more than 10 acres, we couldn't have a barn on the property, we couldn't finance the home period because it was a "farm" and not just a home. We were struggling to make this home ours for reasons we didn't understand why. It didn't feel like the banks were being honest about what the VA would cover. We will definitely be using them again. Plus Matt offers a financial review after one year from your purchase date to see where you stand as well as financial advise for life if you need it.
