Matt and his entire team (Juanita, Devin, Brent, Oliva) were amazing from start to finish. Everyone went above and beyond, answering all my questions, and going to bat for me whenever needed. The process was quick and efficient, we were able to close a conventional loan in under 30 days! Matt has made me a customer for life, and I look forward to getting to work with everyone again on my next purchase!!

The wife and I were granted an opportunity to obtain a property and home that my wife had wanted since she was a young child. Every bank we went to for a VA loan told us we couldn't have more than 10 acres, we couldn't have a barn on the property, we couldn't finance the home period because it was a "farm" and not just a home. We were struggling to make this home ours for reasons we didn't understand why. It didn't feel like the banks were being honest about what the VA would cover. When we felt that we were gonna have to settle on a lesser loan for a mere fraction of the family property we stumbled onto Arielle Best NMLS # 1674270 with Ross Mortgage. She shined the light on what the banks were doing to close doors that the VA had wide open for us. She worked in another state so she pointed us to Matthew Stevens who just happened to work in our small town. Matthew's team was able to work with us from start to finish on gaining our home on 6 acres attached to 60 additional acres with the barns and all. The rates offered were consistent with going rates offered by the banks. The process was not easy do to multiple complications that were out of our hands but they stuck through grinding out every detail. My personal favorite was the constant updates, we didn't go a single day wondering what was going on. They kept us in the loop at all times and even with the slightest change. We will definitely be using them again. Plus Matt offers a financial review after one year from your purchase date to see where you stand as well as financial advise for life if you need it. We stumbled across Ross Mortgage by chance and it was everything we needed when everything else was holding the doors closed.

The team at Matthew Stevens were excellent. They were professional and courteous at every step. They couldn't have made the process any easier for us. We were able to complete our loan application online and received a great rate too! We even closed on time. If you are looking for an awesome lending team that provides excellent service and rates, I recommend the team at Matthew Stevens!

Too good to be true is a thing with Matthew Stevens mortgage. He made the impossible timeline happen, found me the best low rate and I never had a moment of wondering because the communication was stellar. Matthew himself took my call when he should have ignored the call. Juanita was on top of everything and always in constant communication Brett made sure we got updates and found any answers I needed help with. THIS TEAM GOES ABOVE AND BEYOND

Mathew Stevens company was exceptional! I got a great interest rate. I did all my paperwork on line and everything went smoothly. The staff was excellent. They were very professional and prompt. If I called with a question it was answered or my phone call was returned promptly. They made me feel comfortable to ask as many questions as necessary. I would highly recommend this company. I worked with Juanita Hill and Devin Gearlds. They were FANTASTIC!! Thank you for a great experience.

Seller Tips

You’ve got a lot to learn.

We’ve Got Your   Back…

First Time Seller Tips

1. Price Your Home accurately.

When you begin to consider pricing your home, always check with a reputable listing agent.

They will analyze comparable sales and prepare an estimate for the value of your home.

——

2.  Stage Your Home

Staging your home boosts your selling power and appeal. Most homes show better clean, and with about half the existing furniture in it.

——

3. Consider Painting the Interior

If you have scrapes and marks on the wall, it can make it look like you did not take good care of the home. Painting over these areas makes it look better, and the eye sore is no longer in the room. 🙂

——

4. When To List Your Home

The best time to list your home, will depend on a few factors.

– Local Community

– The Time of the Year

– Present State of Your Real Estate Market

The goal is to present your home during the best time on the market so it will have a higher chance of selling.

——

5. Ask About Your Agent’s Commission

Always ask your agent’s standard commission. If it seems reasonable then consider the benefits of hiring this person. Always check for reviews and their past performance.

——

6. Be Flexible With Home Showings

Remember that everyone works at different times of the day. Be flexible. Consider going away a couple days on the weekend so that your house can be showed at any point during the day. This will increase the sale of your home.

——

7. Insist on Professional Photography

Just because you’ve decided to use the best realtor in the city, doesn’t mean you’ve hired the best person to take photos. In fact, some realtors do not take good photos at all. Insist that they must have professional photography made to give your home the best appeal.

——

8. Review Your Listing Online

Look at your home listed online. Make sure that all features and all information is accurate. Agents do make mistakes, and sometimes those mistakes can cost you a sale.

——

 9. Respond Promptly to a Purchase Offer

Always try to respond quickly to a purchase offer. Many offers do expire after certain dates. If you aren’t checking your voicemails, emails, or checking in with your realtor from time to time; you may miss the opportunity on a sale.

10. Start Packing Early

It’s a good idea to begin packing early. This will give you a head start before your home hits the market and you’ll have peace of mind that you’re ready to move. Extending your stay after it sells can kill a sale. So remember to start packing before your house is listed.
